Summary: The Business Systems Lead serves as a primary interface supporting the Regulatory, Product Safety, Compliance, HS&E and Quality Control systems, processes and users. S/he provides application support, pre-project planning, and project management for the communities of users in specific business departments or divisions within the company. S/he liaises and interacts with the technical and development groups.

Role & Responsibilities:
Drives and owns two or more specific functional areas and all of the technical deliverables associated to these areas.
Responsible for gathering and analyzing the business requirements and translating them into solutions, preparing technical specifications, specifying and implementing interfaces between Oracle EBS and other applications and systems.
Coordinates and manages the testing, debugging and documenting of software programs with different complexities following the predefined standards and best practices.
Serve as a primary contact for a designated community of users.
Performs functional and technical support for applications and systems, analyzing and solving incidents and problems, identifying root causes and reporting critical issues to the management.
Coordinate the delivery of the following services: gathering requirements, taking and following up user requests, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications, suggesting process improvements, and supervising user acceptance testing.
Manage business analysis for change requests and projects by overseeing and collaborating closely with the business stakeholders to understand business needs, processes and data sources.
Translate the business needs into clearly defined and documented detailed requirements and project plans, develops functional specifications and use cases, obtains consensus and sign-off on deliverables, writes and coordinates UAT plans and execution.

Candidate Profile

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of functional experience with solutions implemented for the regulatory, HS&E and QAQC departments in the Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry or related.
• Direct experience with tools related to Dangerous Goods Management, Formulation, Safety Data Sheet maintenance, Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Product Safety, or Occupational Safety.
• Working knowledge of Document Management solutions and implementation applied to regulatory, compliance and safety domains.
• Knowledgeable about integrating local and federal environmental, health and safety regulations into the information system.
• Possesses mastery level understanding of PSRA, HS&E, QA/QC professional standards, business processes, workflows, methodologies and leading practices.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, implementing interfaces, extensions, customization and reports. (Oracle and SQL databases)
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related field/equivalent experience required.
• At least 5 years of IT industry experience with systems analysis and/or programming.
• At least 3 years of project management, systems development, documentation and/or testing.

Preferred Skills:
• Working knowledge of the following systems or similar: EtQ, THE WERCS, TRIFOIL, BATCHMETRICS.
• Knowledge of business process analysis techniques and tools
• Project management skills, including MS Project or similar tools
